1. Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the information you share with us. As you use our services, we want to ensure that you are aware of how we use information and the ways in which your privacy can be protected. Our Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is collected and what it is used for.

2. Information Collected

Our primary goal in collecting personal information from any visitor is to provide as smooth, efficient, and personalized an experience as possible, as well as to be able to provide additional services such as newsletters, current promotions and relevant updates that may be subscribed to. We automatically track certain information about visitors based upon their behaviour on our site. This is purely for Google Analytics and this information is used for internal research on our users’ demographics, interests, and behaviour to better understand and serve our users. This analytic data, collected via a JavaScript tagin the pages of our site, is not tied to personally identifiable information – so visitors personal details are kept anonymously.

Our Analytics tracking code has been changed to support Display Advertising. This will be used as follow:

The Google Analytics features you've implemented based on Display Advertising (e.g., Remarketing, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, the DoubleClick Campaign Manager integration, or Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting).

• Visitors can opt-out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads using the Ads Settings.

We are implementing Remarketing with Google Analytics, and follow the Google AdWords Interest-Based Advertising Policy and its sensitive category restrictions:

• We use Remarketing with Google Analytics to advertise online.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, show our ads on sites across the Internet.

• Our and third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on someone's past visits to your website.

3. Cookie Policy

everybody loves a cookie!

We use a number of different cookies on our site. A cookie is a small file containing a string of characters that is sent to your computer when you visit a website. To find out how to control or delete them, we recommend you visit http://www.aboutcookies.org for detailed guidance.

Since the chance legislation of 2012 when the new cookie law was implemented, we make sure we follow the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) guidelines.

The below table describes the cookies we use on this site and what we use them for. Currently, we operate an “implied consent” policy, meaning that we will assume that you are happy to receive all cookies on the IELS Malta website if you navigate it without changing your settings. If you are not happy, then you should delete IELS Malta cookies after having visited the site, or you should browse the site using your browser’s anonymous usage setting.
