Watch Assassin's Creed after school - Movie shot in Malta Assassin's Creed is a movie based on the popular video game story, one of three Malta-filmed productions that debuted this Christmas season. It was shot mostly in Malta during September 2015, and includes breathtaking stunts in Valletta (Malta’s capital city). The story of the film includes a new screenplay written specifically for this purpose, and does not follow the storyline of the games, allowing Ubisoft (creator of Assassin’s Creed video game series) to develop unique stories for the big screen while maintaining their stories on our small screens. The movie will feature Valletta buildings including St Dominic's Basilica, Fort Ricasoli and Fort Manoel among others. Most of the film's action took place on set pieces built by Maltese craftsmen.
